What Legal Terms Govern Your Use of This Site?
The conditions below explain what you agree to when you browse, read, or interact with Georgia Innovation, and what we promise (and don't promise) in return.

Acceptance of Terms
When you visit this site, you accept these terms. That's the whole bargain. It doesn't matter whether you're a researcher pulling case studies on Georgia's aerospace sector, an investor scanning our commercialization coverage, or someone who landed here from a search result and stayed for thirty seconds.
The agreement covers every visitor and every user, without a sign-up step. If any part of what follows doesn't sit right with you, the remedy is simple: don't use the site. Continuing to read means you're on board with the conditions described here.
Acceptable Use Policy
We ask for honest behavior, and most of it comes down to common sense. When you submit anything through a contact form or other channel, the information you give us should be accurate and not fraudulent. Pretending to be someone you aren't, or feeding us false details, breaks this agreement.
Beyond that, a short list of things you cannot do:
- Interfere with the security, performance, or availability of the site, including any attempt to probe, scan, or overload it.
- Use automated tools to harvest content or data in ways that disrupt normal operation.
- Engage in any unlawful, abusive, or harassing activity through the site or its features.
These rules exist so the site stays useful for everyone, not just the person testing its limits.
Content Use License
The articles, reports, graphics, and analysis published here are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You can read them, save a copy for your own reference, and share a link freely.
What you cannot do is redistribute or republish the material as your own, or fold it into a commercial product, without written permission. Quoting a passage with attribution and a link back is fine. Lifting a full report and posting it elsewhere is not.
Intellectual property in the content — text, design, logos, and compiled data, remains with the site or its licensors. Granting you a license to read something is not the same as handing over ownership.
Need to reuse a chart or a section of analysis for a presentation, report, or publication? Reach out through our Contact page and describe the use. Permission is often granted, but it has to be asked for.
No Warranties and Disclaimers
The site and everything on it are provided on an "as available" basis. We publish economic-development coverage in good faith and work to keep it current, but we don't warrant that any of it is complete, accurate, or up to date at the moment you read it.
Markets shift. Incentive programs change. A figure that was correct recently may no longer hold. Treat what you find here as informed reporting and context, not as legal, financial, or investment advice. Where a decision carries real consequences, seek independent professional guidance suited to your own situation.
We're a small editorial operation covering a broad field, so there will be gaps and the occasional error — flagging one through the contact channel helps us fix it.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for damages that arise from your use of this site or your reliance on its content. This holds whether the claim is framed in contract, in negligence, or in any other theory.
That exclusion covers indirect, incidental, and consequential losses in particular: lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, or business interruption tied to something you read or did here. The principle is straightforward. We offer this resource without charge and without warranty, and the limitation of liability is the other side of that arrangement.
Some jurisdictions don't permit certain limitations. Where that's the case, the exclusions above apply only as far as local law allows them to.
Applicable Law and Disputes
These terms are interpreted under the laws of the State of Georgia in the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that arises from them, or from your use of the site, falls under the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
One practical note on severability: if a court finds a single provision here unenforceable, that provision is trimmed back or set aside, and the rest of these terms stay in full force. A flaw in one clause doesn't unravel the whole agreement.
Changes to These Terms
We revise these terms from time to time as the site grows, as features change, or as legal requirements shift. When we do, we update the revision date noted at the top of this page.
We don't send individual notices for routine edits, so the date is your reference point. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms. If a change ever matters enough to warrant clearer notice, we'll say so plainly.
Questions About These Terms
If anything here is unclear, or you want to confirm whether a particular use is allowed, ask before you assume. The quickest route is the Contact page, where you'll find the current details for reaching us.
